With some 8,000m2 of facility space, 120+ employees and a comprehensive inventory of vehicles, access equipment and scaffold materials, we pride ourselves on being entirely self-sufficient and capable of undertaking the largest projects – both at a practical and financial level.
3D Scaffolding Ltd own task specific vehicles which include high capacity hiab arrangements which stack materials in an orderly fashion to help eliminate housekeeping problems.
All materials will be man handled into their final fixing positions. Although many scaffold components are heavy, all operatives are trained and experienced in handling such equipment at heights. Manual handling assessments have been developed and recorded to reduce the risks exposed to our employees. It may be necessary to install lifting aids to the scaffold to reduce the exposure of continual man handling of equipment. This can be undertaken by means of a certified gin wheel and rope system or by one of our company owned mechanical hoists (GEDA hoists with the lock and load system).
All materials used in the construction of our scaffolds will be clean, suitable and manufactured to BS1139 – (the British standard for scaffolding materials), as a minimum. All materials are inspected prior to leaving our premises by trained operatives ensuring all items are fit for purpose.
The Company presently owns approx. £5.5 million worth of stock, which is made up of Traditional tube & fittings, Van Tiel System, and the very popular Haki-Tech system scaffold incorporating the many roof and containments systems
All scaffolding operatives attending site will be CISRS and CITB. Qualified and always working under the supervision of an advanced CISRS / CITB qualified scaffolder. All operatives are directly responsible to the scaffolding Supervisor and or Site Manager who will be permanently based on site and is responsible for the day to day running of the project
